
Lugana DOC
Lugana is one of the most iconic white wines from Lake Garda.
It is made from the grape “Turbiana” (Trebbiano di Lugana), which is a native variety that on the typical white clay of the valley between the moraines and the lake, produces rich and aromatic wines, with long ageing potential.

Grapes: 100% Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana)
Alcohol content: 13%
Vineyard: The soil is clayish, typical of the little flat area between Lake Garda and the moraine hills.
Training system and production: Spurred cordon, with a production of 100q/ha
Harvest: manual, half of September.
Vinification: the flower must is kept in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (17°C)
Refinement: in stainless steel tanks for min 4 months
Color: bright and light yellow
Aroma: intense and typical of the variety. Hints of flowers and fruits (apple, pear, ananas, mango)
Flavour: dry, round, elegant. Good structure and balance
Food pairings: appetizers, fresh cheese, fish and seafood.
Best served: 6-8°C
